Legacy Writing Presentations

In the past four years, I've partnered with over 100 organizations nationwide to offer online and in-person legacy writing programs for more than 2,500 participants.

In my presentations, I briefly survey the history of legacy writing and I facilitate discussion around some of the important themes and questions that legacy letters raise. The programs also include brief writing exercises and advice to help participants craft their own ethical will or other legacy document.

I can offer either a one-time workshop or a multi-session course. I prefer the multi-session format, which allows participants to reflect and to complete writing assignments between sessions. However, I am happy to work with your organization to accommodate your needs and schedule.

I make presentations for churches, synagogues and other faith institutions; independent living facilities and retirement communities; adult learning programs; public libraries and civic organizations. I also work with attorneys and financial advisers to offer legacy writing presentations to their clients.

I'm currently scheduling in-person programs and online presentations using video conferencing technology. I charge a modest fee for these programs. Please contact me if you'd like to discuss or schedule a program.
